McAuley Told He Can Leave

Town defender Gareth McAuley says his agent has been allowed to find the defender another club.

McAuley lost the Town captaincy earlier this season to Alex Bruce, which Roy Keane said was to allow McAuley to focus on coming back from an injury.

McAuley: "My agent got a call from the chairman who said if a club could be found for me then to go ahead."

He seems to have lost a lot of confidence under RK - can't help playng CB for club and RB for Country - am surprised we never tried him in that position before Rosenior came in.

So where is the replacement?

Bruce is a guaranteed starter but Pim not set the world alight this season and Smith only seems to be playing LB.

No wonder the defence is a mess.

The club is in chaos!!! I never thought I'd say it but we've actually gone backwards under Keane, we've lost and are still losing what was a quality side and becoming, well, just @#$%&!!

Well he's got to start showing faith in somebody or the confidence will never turn up. Keane doesn't seem interested in coaching certain players better, just replacing them until we find one already coached! Interesting.
