Keane has been heard talking about trying to get Sol Campbell on loan at Ipswich.

Keane has said he may try and get Sol on loan after Sol quit Notts County in Sept.

Keane is thinking of having Sol on loan.  The 35 year old is not happy playing in the lower leagues and Keane gas said he is a good player.

Sol has had a lot of criticism after he left Notts county. But Keane said that he admire's players that are not happy in a club that leave. Alot of players stay just because of the wages though they are not happy.

Keane does not know where Sol stands at the moment whether or not Sol is still a player at Notts Country. Keane said:

“We don’t know the ins and outs of it because I had the same situation with my contract when I left United, I couldn’t sign for anyone until January, even though I was told different, but that’s another story"

Keane thinks Sol could strengthen the Ipswich team and if he joined it would be a big thing for the club.

All I say if I hear more I will try and let you be some of the first to know

Not sure Sol can sign for Premiership club till Jan so he could come to the Town on loan till then - IF he is fit - it could be a good move to shore the defence up till the transfer window - give the defence and team a boost and bring some much needed belief (and wins) to our beleaguered team.
