Never mind that penalty - Roy Keane should be thankful no-one asked about his Ipswich record!
The football season is already a quarter the way done already.
I knew some writer for a paper would start on Keane and I Think I have find the best so far.
Its now heading to mid-season not the end and already he is saying Keane is a crap manager.
Well just some of the things he said I will say on here the rest is worth a laugh on the Daily Mirror site.
Winwood started on Keane by saying that the Football Managers need to start working harder now. Especially Ipswich he reckons we can go though a whole seson without winning.
Well he sure knows how to get to fans first thing in the morning. I just hope Ipswich can prove him wrong like they have done before.
He thinks that the the aim of winning is having no affect on Keane after Ipswich lost again on Saturday to a late winner. Barnsley lost 2-1 and missed a penalty.
Winwood said added to this:
"Roy was predictably furious about this… (about the fact that the penalty was given, not that Iain Hume had missed it)".
Nearly a week after this game Winwood is still carrying on does he ever know when to stop kicking a team and Manager down?
Winwood has said that no reporter would talk about the Penalty (he knows this as he is a reporter) because though it was given it was missed and had no effect on the final score where Ipswich lost.
Well if this is true why is Winwood talking about it?
The one thing that annoyed me this morning reading this was this part what winwood put:-
He reackons that football fans over the country even from Suffolk are wishing Ipswich luck....
This part sounded good untill.......
Winwood put- for Ipswich not to win a single game or to get anymore points. He said that would be a achievement and that he would build a statue to the man who lead Ipswich to that kind of season. No one would ever forget him.
I am sure Keane would not last till the end of the seson if Ipswich was going that way. Does Winwood know anything about Football or Ipswich? I dont think he does.
To read the whole lot if you really want to
