Striker Connor Wickham has been included in the England squad for their UEFA European U17 Championships first qualifying round group games. The matches, in Baku, Azerbaijan, are against the hosts, Serbia and Kazakhstan and will be played between October 26th and 31st.
But the games are the same time as Ipswich have a league game. So if Wickham is needed for the first team he may not be able to play for England.
The game in question is against Derby City so Ipswich may have to withdraw him from England if needed.
Wickham has been pulled out before this season when Ipswich played Peterborough and Preston. He was due to play in a England friendly. Then last season he was withdrew from a u16's party to play in his 1st senior game against Doncaster.
Wickham has got four caps for playing in the England u17's level and has scored 1 goal.

As he's proved in games he's played for us - he does add a different dimension to the team's play.
