Will Bruce keep the armband?

WHEN Ipswich play their next game on Saturday week at home to Swansea will Alex Bruce win back the captain's armband?

Bruce was made Captain after Keane stripped McAuley of it.

But now Bruce who was born in Norwich could lose out to Walters who is stiff opposition to Bruce.

Bruce was injured in the Newcastle match and since then Walters has been leading the team, and reports have said Ipswich have improved with it.

The last two games Ipswich went 3-1 up but ended the game 3-3. Then last saturday they lost in the final minutes by a late goal from Barnsley.

Bruce should be fit enough to be back on the team in 9 days when Ipswich next play but who will be leading the team out?

Keane said Bruce was only Skipper for the time being, which made it sound Keane had plans for a new skipper soon.

Walters is the top player at Ipswich and has played in every game. He is the top scorer as with 4 goals this season.

Walters loves the role he has been given and is glad its been for such a big club like Ipswich.

Walters has never been captain before so he is enjoying the role and he is certain goals will start flying in now with such great forwards that Ipswich have got.

Ipswich wont be having a break though they have a week off. They will be training as normal and hope the break will change so they start their winning ways.

Let Walters keep it - at least he is guaranteed to be in the 1st team - every game!
