Get two caps as their sides lose yesterday

Ipswich Towns Tamás Priskin and Carlos Edwards both picked up International caps in World cup Qualifers last night.

Priskin won his 22nd cap when he played for his Hungary side. Priskin came on 56th minute but his Hungary side lost 3-0 against Potugal.

His side still stand a chance of 2nd in their group but they face Denmark on Wednesday who they need to beat. Denmark have already qualified. Also they need Portugal and Sweden to lose and a massive turnaround in goal difference for them to get though.

Edwards got his’s 77th cap yesterday. He played all the 90mins for his Trinidad and Tobago side who lost 4-0 to Costa Rica.

Trinidad and Tobago sit bottom of their group and have no chance at getting though. Their last game against Mexico and his old team mate  was on loan at Ipswich

Gareth McAuley will be in action on Wednesday night with his Northen Ireland side against they Chez Repulic a game they must win to finish second in their group, although as the table stands they are out as San Marino have to beat Slovenia they also need a different in goals.

Garvan to skipper the Republic of Ireland U21s when they face Switzerland on Tuesday in a u21 Championship. They drew 1-1 on Friday against Georgia.
