Portsmouth Goal keeper on loan

Asmir has joined Ipswich on loan for 3 months

He will be at Ipswich till 16th Jan on loan.

The 22 year old Goal keeper went to Portsmouth 2003.

Ipswich Manager Roy Keane has said he likes 3 Goal keepers on a 1st team.

Just wondering will we see 1 on pitch and other two on the  bench? then  if  Ipswich go a goal down will he bring next one on and so on lol.

 Asmir has been on loan before so he is use to it having been loaned to Macclesfield, Bournemouth and Yeovil as well as the Belgian club La Louviere.

 He is from Bosnia but has Canadian citizionship and has played for the under 20's Team in 2007 alongside Jaime Peters.

 Ipswich also got good news that Alex Bruce could also return for Towns game on Saturday after injury.

 

 Bruce has been training all week with the Ipswich side and as long as he keeps it up he could play Saturday Keane has reported.

Could this be the weekend Ipswich will now win and change their bad luck around at last? Only time will tell.

Unfortunately - with so many Wright errors - we need a change - he's not come to warm the bench so put him in asap! We need a confident keeper and sadly Wrights confidence is shot!

Well Keane must have agreed as he wont even on bench and at least only one goal went in against us

He wasn't that busy either by all accounts.

Not at fault for their goal so likely to keep his place for Tuesday

He'll be part and parcel of the Ipswich revival and sign on a permanent deal allowing R Wright to retire gracefully - ie benchwarm!
