Keane tells McAuley he needs to stay
not go

Though things have not been right between McAuley and Keane.
McAuley has been unsettled for some time at Ipswich but Keane has told him he wants him to stay and help him turn Ipswich around.
They had a run in earlier in the season when he was dropped as skipper and got blamed for the bad start.
Even Ipswich Town owners told him he was free to find a new club.
(Talk about not feeling wanted)
After Keane wanted to raise money to change the team.
But seems now Keane has change plans and wants him to stay hope he now can sleep better and start playing good once more for us.

His performances have been getting better though he is still prone to a mistake a game which unfortunately leads to a goal. Think he needs a settled defence so each of them know what the other expects. With no news on the loan front we need McAuley to stay, play well and regain the confidence that made him one of the best defenders 2 seasons ago!

macauley is the worst defender ipswich have ever had, 2 seasons ago he went down with leicester (that should give you a clue to how not good he is) then he came here because of another arrogant stupid irishman

He's a good lad and every other f&ck*r's been making mistakes of one kind or another so cut him some slack and give him a lift. I can't believe I've gotta say this, what's with supporters these days??

i don't some fans are not seeing or grasping how bad the situation really is, the "burying your head in the sand" or the "its still early on and its getting better" attitudes just don't wash any more. the stats, performances, the manager attitudes, signings and decisions are more than convincing, i have seen the matches at portman road being there and on tv, the once good footballing side we have had is no longer. i am a town fan through and through, if you had the so-called passion and the b***s where is it?, i say show it, put up or shut up. believe me its that bad and why should fans put up with it.

Man of the Match according to TWTDs ratings - and our 2nd top goal scorer!
Wasn't his fault we lost - inability of strikers and midfield to score cost us this time.
Look what having a settled back 4 does - reduced the goals going in - still not perfect but at least they are giving the team a fighting chance - just need a goal machine!

whats positive about our situation tell me one good thing thats happened in all the pre-season and the games this season, no wins, got rid of the better players pre-season, have got a arrogant overrated manager whose decisions are beyond me and he still doe'snt know his strongest eleven. bottom of the league and we don't look like getting out of any time soon. granted we did play better against watford but 1 game in 17 games. I think the majority of the fans are in denial and want to look for anything positive and look through "rose tinted glasses" to get it. Sorry if people don't like what i say but the truth is staring us right in the face and the truth hurts sometimes, if there was something very positive i would shout aloud about but there is'nt. i hate where we are and why we are there, its just not right

I hate it too - but I don't see RK being sacked - so gotta look through those rose tinted specs and see the positives. We all want to see the best 11 - and have not so far this Season. For whatever reason RK has - he has bought poorly - thought he last 3 signings have bucked that trend! Can not for the life of me see what Garvan/Stead and D Wright had done to deserve the chop - when week in week out the starting 11 have performed poorly - till the last game. The shoots of recovery are there - and we play the worst team in the division tomorrow - so if we can't win that..............!
We need stability - 2 players back from injury and goal scorers!
