Derby wanting Stead but Keane says news to him

Derby have said they are thinking of having Stead join them after he went on loan to them 2006.
Stead who is now 26 scored 17 when he was on loan at Derby.
But Keane said on Monday he had heard nothing about it from Derby.
Derby have said that they have but at the moment they are leaving it.

Am wondering what must be going through Stead and Garvan's minds.
The team is rubbish in midfield and can't score so where do 2 of our better players play - at home on their PS3s! -not even for the Ressies!
