Pablo: I Didn’t Score

Town striker Pablo Counago says he didn't touch the ball from Carlos Edwards' long throw during the FA Cup defeat against Southampton on Saturday.

Town players had started to celebrate but the referee ruled correctly that no-one had touched the ball before it crossed the line.

Counago confirmed the ref was right saying: "I tried to get a flick on it but didn't touch the ball. If it didn't touch anyone else then the referee got it right

"It was a very disappointing result for us. We controlled the game for the first 25 minutes but in the second-half we didn't create many chances and now we must look to react against West Brom on Tuesday."
