Preview: Swansea - Town

Town travel to Swansea tomorrow, looking to move back away from the relegation following the 2-0 defeat against Plymouth on Tuesday night.

Town will be missing Connor Wickham, who is on international duty with the England Under-17 squad but otherwise a fit squad, however changes could be made to the squad following the defeat to Plymouth on Tuesday night.

Town manager Roy Keane: "We have to bounce back from what was a poor night against Plymouth, I'm sure Paulo will be saying the same thing after their result and it should be a good game, especially the way Swansea play.

"They haven't scored a lot of goals so it's amazing in a way that they are where they are in the table but they have shown they are capable of winning games 1-0.

"They deserve a lot of credit for where they are in the league. They are not only pretty to watch but pretty solid as well so we know what to expect.

"But we have performed well against the teams in the top six this season and we have to do it again.

"They are in a strong position but I wouldn't say the top six are done and dusted, the top two, Newcastle and West Brom, look very strong and there is a gap opened up between the top six and the rest but there is still a lot of football to be played yet.

"Teams at the top have lost eight, nine, 10 games this season. It's that type of league. It's ironic that through the inconsistencies we've had lately, we've picked up more points than when we were drawing every week for two or three months.

"Win one game, lose the next, then win again, then lose again gets you nowhere fast though. That's something we have to put right."

Swansea will be missing Albert Serran, Federico Bessone and Ferrie Bodde are all out with injuries. Former Town striker Shefki Kuqi should be involved but has promised not celebrate should he score against Town.

Swansea boss Paulo Sousa: "Ipswich didn't start the season so well, but then they have got the balance and now they don't have so many problems.

"They lost their last game, and I think they may change their line-up. I was surprised at how Ipswich started because of the investment they have made.

"They have made changes; important people like the manager. There is a big belief that they will do well, but the expectation for Roy (Keane) is always to be at the top of the table.

"In the Championship you can't slow down, you need intensity.

"If you start to slip then the other teams are running up behind you.

"I expect a reaction from my players and at home we need to make our opponents feel that it is not a nice place to be.

"We have a big chance straightaway to change things at the Liberty.

"We have worked hard on making our fans happy, because they play an important role in the progress of the club.

"We have worked hard to make them believe in ourselves and we have succeeded.

"Now, I expect them to keep believing. I don't want them to be anxious. I want them to help the players, and not make them nervous.

"The lads might need the extra men tomorrow.

"I don't want to talk about what happened on Tuesday. I'm looking forward and I want to see a great reaction against Ipswich.

"I want to see the level of intensity and quality we are used to this season.

"We recovered at training on Wednesday, and I have no doubt that the reaction will be fantastic."
