Preview: Forest – Town

Town travel to The City Ground tomorrow to take on Nottingham Forest, the club Town manager Roy Keane started his professional career at.

Town have no new injury concerns, Jaime Peters has been declared fit despite a knock to the head against Derby on Monday.

Town manager Roy Keane: "Forest have had a brilliant season but we're going there with the aim of picking up another three points, the players have done really well over the last week with two tough games, particularly at Derby which was always go to be a big ask, going there and winning.

"We knew they would be firing balls into the box but we stood up to that and I saw another side to the team last week that we have been looking for all season.

"Forest will be another challenge though and present different problems. They have a big pitch and maybe we will get a chance to play a bit more so that comes into my thinking regarding the team.

"Do I stick with the same side? Do I look at the players that came in and did well, lads like Carlos [Edwards]. We have options and I'll weigh up lots of things before selecting my team.

"We know it will be a difficult game though because Forest have been great this year and 12 wins in 13 games at home tells you all you need to know about the job we face but we're looking forward to it.

"I have nothing but brilliant memories from my time at Forest. To have three years there was a great foundation for me," he adds.

"We had a genius of a manager in Brian Clough and I played with some great players, the likes of Stuart Pearce, Des Walker, Nigel Clough, Gary Charles, Brian Laws, I could go on."

There are doubts over the fitness of Dele Adebola and Paul Anderson while Paul McKenna and Julian Bennett will miss out.

Forest boss Billy Davies: "We've got to understand that football has thrown up some very strange things over the decades.

"We've got to make sure we take care of our own games, try and win the remaining matches we've got and hopefully see one or two slip-ups.

"But no-one should forget that we're not yet guaranteed a play-off place.

"There's still some work to be done there.

"There are all sorts of dog-fights going on in the Championship which makes for a few dangerous opponents.

"We've got to make sure that our attitude and our approach to this game, and every other game we've got coming up, is spot on.

"But if life is difficult for Nottingham Forest, imagine how it must feel for one or two other clubs."
