Bruce Wanted By Pearson

Town defender Alex Bruce says he has spoken to Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson about the possibility of joining Leicester next season.

Bruce: "I have spoken to the manager and he said he would like to do something, so I will have to wait and see, there are a few hurdles to overcome and a lot will depend on how much Ipswich ask for me.

"I hope they do get something sorted but, if they don't, I will knuckle down at Ipswich and win my place back.

"I have some fantastic memories of my time with Leicester, it was great to go into a team that was flying high in the table. I had to wait for my chance and I was disappointed that I picked up the stomach injury just as I got my chance."
