Garvan Fee Agreed?

It is being reported that Town have agreed a fee of £250,000 with Crystal Palace for midfielder Owen Garvan.

The 22-year-old started his career with Town but under Roy Keane last season he drifted away from the first team picture and was offered the chance to go out on-loan but he rejected it.

While it appears the fee has been agreed between the two clubs Palace manager George Burley says there is still someway to go to get Garvan to Selhurst park, saying: "He is someone I would like to bring in and add to the squad but whether we can do it remains to be seen.

"He's an extremely talented player whose good in possession of the ball and we are working hard to get him but still have a long way to go."

Garvan made his Town debut in August 2005 and has since made 163 appearances scoring 13 goals.
