Garvan Having Medical

Town midfielder Owen Garvan is having his medical ahead of confirming his move to Crystal Palace.

Palace agreed a fee of around £250,000 with Town for the 22-year-old last month with the move expected to be completed despite Palace still officially being in administration.

Palace manager George Burley: "To attract players of Owen's calibre shows the club has real ambition, everything is agreed and he just needs to pass his medical this afternoon."
