Martin Joins Charlton

Town winger Lee Martin has joined Charlton Athletic on a season long loan this evening.

The 23-year-old has been unable to live up to his big money move from Manchester United last summer, playing just 16 times scoring once.

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson: "We're really pleased to get Lee in on a year's loan, he's a tremendous young player and great acquisition for our squad, He can also play up front or in either wide position.

"What's more, all his family are in Bromley, so he's a local boy."
