Keane: Town Deserved Victory

Town manager Roy Keane says Town deserved their 3-1 win over Middlesbrough at The Riverside Stadium earlier today.
Keane: "Even when we were behind at half-time I felt relaxed, we had a good energy about us and got stronger as the game went on. I thought we deserved the win.
"We could have had a penalty before Tommy's goal. We had a bit of luck with the equaliser but we deserved that. I had a feeling
"Tommy might get a goal for us today, though not from a shot, from a header - he attacks the ball well.
"Tamas and Steady's goals were excellent and I felt quite comfortable we would see the game out at the end.
"If you want to be competing at the top of the table you have to take your chances and we did that today but that is only one game.
"We had a lot of youngsters involved today and they did well. I knew lads like Luke, Reggie and Jack wouldn't let anyone down and they didn't. The young lads provide a lot of energy and that's a good thing to have at your football club."
