Report: M’Boro 1-3 Town

Town started the new Championship season by coming from 1-0 down to beat Middlesbrough 3-1 at The Riverside yesterday.
Town gave debts to Marton Fulop, Mark Kennedy and Luke Hyam, the home side also had three debutants, Kevin Thomson, Kris Boyd and Nicky Bailey.
The home side took the lead after 11 minutes, Julio Arca headed across goal into the path of Scott MacDonald who tapped the ball home.
Priskin headed the ball into the bar from a David Norris cross but Town went into half time 1-0 down.
Within 5 minutes of the restart Town were level, Middlesbrough were unable to clear the ball effectively and Tommy Smith, with the help of a large deflection made it 1-1.
A minute later Town took the lead when, Tamas Priskin headed in Carlos Edwards' cross to make it 2-1.
Jon Stead was introduced as a 73rd minute substitute for Town and 3 minutes later he made sure all 3 points came to Portman Road when he fired home.
