McCormack Linked Again

Cardiff City striker Ross McCormack is being linked with a move to Town after a rumoured move for Michael Chopra evaporated.

The 23-year-old can play either upfront or on the wing and is reportedly frustrated at being 3rd choice striker at The Cardiff City Stadium, behind Chopra and Jay Bothroyd.

He joined Cardiff for £120,000 from Scottish side Motherwell in 2008, although he did come close to moving to then Premiership side Middlesbrough and Wigan Athletic, he has scored 25 goals in 72 games for The Bluebirds and has gained 5 Scotland caps scoring once.

Last year Hull City did try to sign the striker but their £3million bid was reportedly short of Cardiff's £5million valuation.

One report of this move suggests that Jon Stead could be used as part of the deal to bring McCormack to Town.
