Town Sign Townsend On-Loan

Town have signed 19-year-old Spurs winger Andros Townsend on a season-long loan.

The left sided winger has yet to make a competitive first team appearance for Spurs, but did play in all three of their pre-season games in The United States.

He spent the 2nd half of last season on-loan at MK Dons where he played 9 times and scored twice, he spent the first half of last season on-loan at Leyton Orient where he scored twice in 22 games.

Town manager Roy Keane: "He's a lad with a lot of potential. We've had good reports on him and we are delighted to have him here,"
