Walters Stripped Of Armband?

Jon Walters has reportedly been stripped of the Town captaincy and dropped from the Town squad for tomorrow’s game against Burnley.

The 26-year-old did ask Roy Keane for transfer during the summer but never put the request in writing and it was rejected by Town, it is believed that Walters asking for a transfer and pulling out of the game against Exeter in midweek with a virus are what has sparked Keane to axe Walters as captain and replace him with David Norris.

Am I the only one thinking Town/Keane/Walters are handling the situation regarding Walters' future badly at the minute?
