Keane: Get Behind The Team

Town manager Roy Keane has asked Town fans to get behind the team at tonight's Carling Cup quarter final against West Brom.

Keane: "Some supporters I'm sure have 'turned' and when that happens it's very hard to turn them back again, unless you go on a six match winning run - and we've not done that in my time here.

"I've no argument with the fans having a go at me as manager but the danger is that it can start to affect the players - especially the youngsters - so all I ask is that the supporters stay behind the team.

"And we will need that support tonight against a West Brom side who will come here looking to flex their Premier League muscles. They will be on a high after a great result at Everton at the weekend and it will be a big test for us. A really big test, especially when you look at the players we are missing - but we will give it a really good go."

Town will be missing 8 players tonight, Jack Colback, Jake Livermore, Gianni Zuiverloon and Rory Fallon, who are all cup-tied. Gareth McAuley, Mark Kennedy and Luke Hyam are injured while Damien Delaney is suspended.
