Triallist Sandro Grande is impressed by the football played by Ipswich Town and the facilities available to him.

The 27 year old Canadian international trained with the team today and is so far impressed by what he’s seen and glad that he followed Frank Yallop’s and Jason De Vos’ recommendation.

Grande: “Frank Yallop is my manager for Canada and he said that I should try out Ipswich because they are a great club, Jason told me the same thing so here I am and I will stay here for a week or so and see how it goes.

“There are some excellent footballers at Ipswich and they have also been very friendly to me and made me welcome.

“The facilities here are fantastic and hopefully I can spend the next week or so impressing the manager and see how things develop from there.”
