Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch says he “loves playing for England” which he hopes to do later this month against France.

Dean made a full 90 minute appearance for the first time for the England Under 19 side at Carrow Road during the 1-1 with the Czech Republic’s under 19 side, a game he feels England should of won and something he hopes to correct this time round.

Dean: “We should have won that game so we will look to make up for that against France.

“I love playing for England. Pulling on that shirt with the three lions on is special and playing against different countries and tactics can only help me develop as a player as well.”
