Miller Missing A Month?

Ipswich Town midfielder Tommy Miller is could possibly miss the next four weeks of the season with an elbow injury.

Miller missed Sundays defeat away at Sunderland because of the injury he picked up playing in Towns win over Leeds and now it’s a possibility he could miss another four games, including the top of the table clash with Wigan.

How ever Miller is hopeful he will be ok to play Brighton on Saturday, Miller has said: “The elbow is still sore and I have been running this morning and I can feel it, I can't wear a cast or anything because I need the mobility in my arm to get around the pitch and even if I could wear a cast there is obviously an issue of being a danger to other players on the pitch.

“I hope to step up training on Thursday and see how we go from there. I am desperate to be available for the Brighton game but it's still touch and go at the moment and a decision won't be made until Friday.”

Miller, who was born in the north east was looking forward to playing on Sunday in front of what some might say is his home crowd and is hopeful that Town will get the black cats in the FA Cup, Miller added: “I missed last year's game there so it made it even worse to be on the sidelines again this year, being a north east boy, it was a game I was really looking forward to playing in. I know some might not fancy it, but I wouldn't mind if we had to go up there for a FA Cup match this year. That would do me!”
