Barron Injury
Young Ipswich Town defender Scott Barron is facing up too eight weeks out after surgery on a groin injury.
The 19 year old defender has already been out since September and after extensive rest he went under the knife in order to solve the problem and now expected to be out until the new year.
Town physio Dave Williams has said: “Scott has had the operation and we expect him to be out of action for between six to eight weeks, he's had problems with the injury since September and has had various rest periods to try and clear it up.
“He returned to training a few weeks ago but was still complaining of pain so after scans and seeing a specialist, it was decided that surgery was the next step.”
