Ipswich Town are to give a week long trial to Waterford United and Ireland under 21 striker Daryl Murphy, starting Monday.

Murphy broke into the Irish international set up this season after scoring 22 goals for Waterford United in all competitions.

Town are believed to be favourites to sign the 21 year old but there is reported interest from Manchester City and Livingston.
