According to reports in yesterdays tabloid newspapers, Everton striker Duncan Ferguson is aging being linked with a summer switch to Town.

According to reports in yesterdays tabloid newspapers, Everton striker Duncan Ferguson is aging being linked with a summer switch to Town.

The 33-year-old who is out of contract at Goodison in the summer is expected to be reunited with Joe Royle who bought the Scot from Rangers to Everton in 1994.

Ferguson has told team mates he would play for another year but as yet no contract has been forth coming and he is expected to leave in the summer or maybe on-loan sometime between now and then.

Ferguson is only expected to offered a contract by Town should they get promoted and even then it will be only for a year, this news must come as a kick in the teeth to Town striker Shefki Kuqi who is out of contract in the summer also and has yet to be offered a new contract.
