Reaction from Ipswich Town duo Dean Bowditch and Fabian Wilnis after today’s 2-0 defeat against West Ham at Portman Road.

Dean Bowditch: “The early goal killed our confidence really; and for a time they outran and out-passed us. At times we thought we might nick a goal and get back into the game. We started moving the ball about much better in the second-half but there were no end products. Luck wasn't on our side today and their second goal, with three minutes to go, killed us. We said afterwards that it's been and gone now; we're still top of the table. We've got to go to Plymouth on Monday and get three points there.”

Fabian Wilnis: “We've done really well so far this season and this was a one off; our first defeat at home so we mustn't be too worried about today's performance. The first goal was really unsettling; we weren't at the races today. West Ham were sharper and brighter. We have to get this game out of our system and go in to the next match against Plymouth in a positive frame of mind. We were all disappointed with our performance today because we know that we can do much better than that.”
