Teenage Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch has called for Town manager Joe Royle to please play him more often.

Teenage Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch has called for Town manager Joe Royle to please play him more often.

The 18-year-old has hardly featured this season and ahead of Towns game with Plymouth yesterday he urged Royle to give him his chance.

Dean: “I am ready, willing and able to give our promotion drive a boost, “I am bursting to get going again, hopefully I will get a chance and if I do I plan to take it. I have been waiting patiently and with the way results have been going - and goals scored - I have had no complaints at sitting on the bench.

“Despite a lack of games - with the reserves having no fixtures since December 7 - I am ready for the call.”
