Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed he tried to sign Burnley defender Mo Camara last month.

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed he tried to sign Burnley defender Mo Camara last month.

Royle: “I made a definite enquiry and followed it up with a bid, but that was turned down by Burnley.

“It is unlikely I will go in for him again, but you cannot rule out anything in football.”
