Young Ipswich Town defender Scott Barron will hopefully make his return tonight for the Town reserves when the play Coventry.

Young Ipswich Town defender Scott Barron will hopefully make his return tonight for the Town reserves when the play Coventry.

The 19-year-old has been out of action since October with a groin injury that required surgery after resting failed to solve the problem.

“I've stepped up my training over the past week or so and it's gone really well,” Said Scott.

Scott is now hoping to play a part for Town’s reserve side when they play Coventry tonight: “Now I can't wait to get back in match action after being out for so long and hopefully I'll get a run out against Coventry tonight.”

Barron has only made one appearance for Town, that during Town carling cup win against Brentford in August.

Also likely to feature in the reserves for Town tonight is Monaco loanee Jimmy Juan.
