Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has been called into the Finland squad for a tournament that takes place in Cyprus next month.

Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has been called into the Finland squad for a tournament that takes place in Cyprus next month.

The 28-year-old striker had semi-retired from playing for his adopted country earlier in the season as he was only ever on the bench but since the injury to Mikael Forssell he made and U-turn and has started playing for his country again. Shefki will fly out to meet his team mates after Towns game against Sheffield United.

Also away with their countries that week are Lewis Price who will be with the Welsh under21 side, Dean Bowditch who will be with the England under 19 side.
