Hogg On Hibs Move
Former Ipswich Town defender Chris Hogg has been speaking of delight at finally ending his stay at Portman Road after joining Hibs yesterday.
The 19-year-old joined Town from York City for £150,000 but never managed to break into the first team at Portman Road after failing to make the step up, Hogg is currently recovering from a severed artery after putting him arm though glass while trying to stop thieves getting away with his sisters car over Christmas, its kind of ironic that one of his defensive partners at Easter road is Stephen Glass.
Chris: “This is a brilliant move for me. Mogga is a legend in Scotland, and
is another Boro boy. He was my dad's idol and for me to sign for Hibs is a big
honour.
“It has been a tough couple of years for me, with one thing and another, but
finally I'm looking at light at the end of the tunnel.
“My aim is to be
playing in the side for the last couple of months of the season. I know Hibs
have a lot of decent players but I have a lot of belief in myself and in my
ability to be able to play at that level.”
