Ipswich Town PLC have today announced the appointment of Anna Hughes as the clubs new Finance Director.

Ipswich Town PLC have today announced the appointment of Anna Hughes as the clubs new Finance Director.

Anna who has been a qualified accountant since 1991 has worked as a independent consultant to the Tate Modern and Cambridge-MIT Institute Ltd and the British museum.

Anna Hughes has said: “My predecessor Mike Cooper has seen the Club through and out of administration. I need now to sustain his good work by acting in partnership with all areas of the business to build the Club's future. My challenge will be to meet the Club's long and short term objectives - strengthening the finances whilst helping to build the platform for ITFC's football successes.”

Town Chief Executive Derek Bowden added: “Anna brings with her a wealth of experience in strategic financial management from a diverse range of businesses outside football. I am delighted that she has decided to join us. As our business continues to expand into new areas I'm sure her experience will benefit us hugely.”
