Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has been called up into Peter Taylor’s England under 21 side for their friendly against Holland next week.

Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has been called up into Peter Taylor’s England under 21 side for their friendly against Holland next week.

The 20-year-old who turns 21 on Sunday will meet up with his international team mates after Town’s game against Sheffield united on Saturday.

Also with their countries next week are Dean Bowditch who is in the England under 19 squad, Shefki Kuqi is away with Finland, Lewis Price is away with the Welsh under 21 side and soon to be Town player Jaime Peters will be with Canada.
