Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake says he would like to make it 4 goals in a row against Sheffield United when Town visit Bramall Lane tomorrow.

Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake says he would like to make it 4 goals in a row against Sheffield United when Town visit Bramall Lane tomorrow.

The 21-year-old midfielder has scored for Town against the blades in each of the last 3 games between the two sides, the first coming in November 2003 when Town sent Neil Warnocks men home with a 3-0 defeat in their mind his second came later that season when Westlake virtually secured Town’s play off place when he scored Town’s equalizer at Bramall lane and his third goal came earlier this season when he got one of Town’s five against the blades.

Westlake: “Sheffield United have been a lucky team for me and I'd love to make it four in four against them.

“But we're not kidding ourselves that tomorrow's game is going to be anything like the one at our place.

“It would be nice to think it might be similar and that we would again score a lot of goals, but realistically we can't take anything from the 5-1 game. That one counts for nothing now.”
