Ipswich Town have today announced that season ticket prices for the 2005/2006 season will go be going up for the first time in four years.

A price increase of around £25 will affect most areas of the ground for adult season tickets but in some sections the increase will be as high £40 for renewing season ticket holder or over £100 for people who buy a first season ticket

Match day ticket prices are now as high as £46 in the premium parts of the ground and £23 in the lower North and Green King Stands.

Renewal packs are being sent out to existing season ticket holders supporters wishing to buy a season ticket for next season will be able to pick up application forms from Town’s ticket office or planet blue stores from the 17th of April, fans who renew before the 15th of April will get slightly slower prices than those that renew after that date.

Town Chairman David Sheepshanks has said: “Whichever division we play in, the Board are determined to maintain an inclusive pricing policy in an effort to make Portman Road accessible and affordable to as many supporters as possible.”
