No Penalty - Naylor

Ipswich Town defender Richard Naylor believes Preston should not of had a penalty after the ball touched his hand in the box.

Naylor: “I didn't even know it had hit my hand at the time.

“I turned around because I knew the guy was coming in from behind and the ball deflected away from him.

“Having seen the incident on TV, the ball has hit my hand but it certainly wasn't intentional. It's a case of ball hitting hand, not the other way around.”

Naylor did however believe a Town win would have been hard on Preston, adding: “We kept giving the ball away in the first-half .

“We improved after the break and could even have won it in the end. That would have been harsh on them maybe.

“Their two lads were lively up front but they didn't create a load of chances. We have to look at it as another point, a good point because it wasn't an easy place to go and although we didn't play well, we got something out of the game.”
