Former Ipswich Town defender George Santos is looking forward to making a return to Portman Road after leaving in the summer.

Former Ipswich Town defender George Santos is looking forward to making a return to Portman Road after leaving in the summer.

Santos: “I'm really looking forward to the game, it was a terrific match at our place in December when Ipswich came to us and hopefully it will be just as exciting this time around.

“We know it will be a hard against Ipswich. They are at the top of the table and that doesn't surprise me at all.

“I saw the quality in the team last year and in Joe Royle and Willie Donachie, they have two people who know the game very well.

“I expect them to finish in the automatic promotion places but we have plenty to play for as well. If we can go on a good run like we had in September and October, we could be in contention for the Play-Offs ourselves.”
