Ipswich Town defender Fabian Wilnis believes Wigan should not of been awarded a penalty against Town earlier today.

Town lost 1-0 against Wigan today thanks to a penalty that Fabian Wilnis feels should not of been awarded at all.

Wilnis: “I went for the ball and he was already falling before I made contact, it was also outside the box when I made the challenge so there are two reasons it shouldn't have been given.

“But I have to say that Wigan deserved to win. They created the better chances and could have been ahead before they got the penalty.

“Their front two were a real handful all game and made it very difficult for us while we created very little at the other end.

“We need a goal from somewhere at the moment. We didn't look like scoring at all and if our front players can't get one, we need to find one from somewhere else.”
