Ipswich Town youngster Darryl Knights has been called into the England under 17 squad for their UEFA European Championship qualifiers.

Knights will be with the squad over the Easter weekend with England facing Serbia and Montenegro, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in a mini tournament with the winners going though to the finals in Italy.

Knights, a first year scholar with Town academy has made one appearance in the Town first team, coming on as a substitute in Town’s 2-0 defeat against Sunderland in November.
