Jim: Forest Is A Big Game

Ipswich Town captain Jim Magilton has called Town’s game against Nottingham Forest at the weekend as the match of the season so far.

Town will be taking on a forest side who are undefeated in their last 6 matches and win on Saturday could take them out of the bottom for the first team in a long time, while a win for Town could see them return to the top two after three defeats on the trot.

Magilton: “It's a big one for both clubs and I consider it the biggest of the season so far for us.

“It's important that we get away from 66 points. We have been on that number too long but it won't be easy against Forest.

“They are fighting for their lives and I'm sure they will come to Portman Road and get men behind the ball and look to frustrate us.

“Gary Megson has got them organised since taking over as manager there and their results have already improved with away wins at Leicester and Watford this week.

“I don't expect it to be a pretty 90 minutes either because we're now getting to the crunch time of the season when results are the only thing that counts.”
