Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos is urging Town fans to get behind the team and keep the faith against Nottingham Forest today.
De Vos who missed last Saturday’s defeat against Wigan, serving a one match ban instead and is more than likely to return to the starting line-up today is urging Town fans to get behind the team as they bid to end the run of three defeats on the trot.
De Vos: “The bottom line is we still believe in ourselves and we still
believe in each other. We need everyone to keep the faith and keep backing the
players.
“What you need more than anything when things are not going as
well as you would like them to, is to be lifted.
“Obviously it is up to
us on the pitch to do the business but the fantastic support we get from the
supporters can play its part in that as well.
“We need to get back to
playing the way we are capable of playing and if we do that the rest will take
care of itself.”
