Willie After Scot Role

Ipswich Town assistant manager Willie Donachie has made public his desire to be part of the Scottish national side set up.

Willie who won 35 caps for Scotland when he was a player isn’t necessarily after Walter Smith’s job or any job even going as far as saying he would be the kit man if he had to.

Willie: “It would be fantastic to get a job with Scotland - any job. I'd be kit man, no problem. To work with the players at that level would be special and it's an ambition of mine.

“One day in the future I would love to do it but at the moment I am enjoying the challenge at Ipswich. On our day we are the best team in the Championship and we are still in with a great chance of being promoted to the Premiership.”
