Reserves Win

Ipswich Town’s Reserve team won only their third game of the season this afternoon beating Derby country’s reserve side 4-0.

Town took the lead after 28 minutes when Dean McDonald turning in the box to score from 12 yards after good work by Liam Craig and Billy Clarke.

Monaco midfielder Jimmy Juan made it 2-0 heading in Owen Garvan’s on 37 minutes, scoring his first goal at any level since joining Town on loan.

Liam’s Craig and Manning both had chances to make it three before Billy Clarke scored Town’s 3rd on 77 minutes hitting home Garvan’s pass.

Garvan finished the scoring himself in the final seconds hitting home Danny Haynes’ cross to make it 4.

Town’s reserves remain bottom of the FA Premier Reserve league south.

Ipswich Town Reserve Squad: Supple, Mitchell, Krause, Collins, Nash, Manning, McDonald, Juan, Clarke, Garvan, Trotter, Lordan, Casement, Haynes and Moore.

Derby County Reserve Squad: Miller, Booth, Vincent, Turner, Konjic, Bullard, Taylor, Bisgaard, Junior, Smith, Tudgay, Young, Atkins, Cassidy, Mills and Ainsworth.
