Jim: Promotion Will Cap It

Ipswich Town midfielder Jim Magilton says promotion with Town this season would be his biggest achievement in the game.

Jim who has captained his country, finished 5th in the premier league and won promotion at Wembley feels promotion this time around would top all of that.

Jim: “It would be something special if we made it.

“I played 50 times for my country which was fantastic for me and had the honour of skippering Northern Ireland as well.

“Then of course there was the Play-Off Final win at Wembley and all that followed in our first year in the Premiership but leading this team to promotion would probably top all that.

“When we kicked off at the start of the season, we had lost some quality players and had a small squad but in a way that helped bond the boys together and the lads have been terrific this year.

“Now we have seven games to go and everyone is determined to have a real crack and finish in those top two places.”
