Royle: Fans Can Lift Us Up

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes the family atmosphere at Portman Road can help Town secure promotion to the premier league.

Royle: “This has always been a friendly club and a happy club. It was one of the reasons I came, and like everybody else I have no regrets.

“We now have a seven-match season in front of us to catch up and pull ahead of Sunderland and Wigan.

“And we can, with everybody pulling together from the players, coaches, backroom staff and supporters. We can all do it for Ipswich Town.”
