George: No Complaints

Former Ipswich Town manager George Burley had no complaints about the final score between his Derby side and Town today.

Burley: “I thought we started brightly, scored a good goal but when we had good possession of the ball we gave it away and got caught on the break..

“It was a cracking game with loads of chances and end to end football.

“The goals were disappointing but all credit to Ipswich. Overall they deserved to win.

“But as I look at it, we competed, we showed a lot of quality, played well against a good side.

“I've great respect for Ipswich and I think they'll be in the top two. For me I've got my fingers crossed that Ipswich get promoted and we make the Play-Offs.”
