Player Reaction: Rotherham

Reaction from Ipswich Town duo Kelvin Davis and Richard Naylor following Town’s 4-3 win over Rotherham this evening.
Kelvin Davis: “We'd have settled for that before the game - collect three points and go second in the League. Okay, it didn't happen the way we would have liked but it's happened. No disrespect to Rotherham, it was extremely hard to get yourself going mentally. Once we got to 4-1 we took our foot of the pedal and that was obvious to see to everyone in the ground. When they made it 4-2 we stepped it up again but the luck didn't go with us - a deflected goal and suddenly we're under pressure. For the neutrals it was obviously enjoyable to watch. Benty scored a cracking goal and he looks as though he's back to his best. Jim was in this morning to do a bit of finishing practise and it paid off tonight; I'm chuffed for him. The goals got us out of trouble, tonight. We're in a strong position now and we're not going to let it go.”
Richard Naylor: “The most important thing was to get three points and that's what we did; other than that, it was disappointing. Benty played well again and Westy got on the end of a few things in their box. To score four goals is very pleasing but on the other hand we've got to defend better as a team. It's a bit like last season where we have to score four to win because we're not defending properly. There was no real pressure on Rotherham, all the pressure was on us to win. From our point-of-view we've got to do better. We know that we can play better than that; there's not been too many of those performances this season. Our shape has got to be better and when we lose the ball we've got to close players down more quickly. It'll be about character now and we've won tonight and we'll take the positives from that.”
